What is Keep Montgomery County Beautiful?

Keep Montgomery County Beautiful promotes and empowers individuals, businesses, and communities to improve the environment in Montgomery County, Ohio through litter prevention, beautification, and neighborhood cleanups. Keep Montgomery County Beautiful is a program of the Montgomery County Solid Waste District.

Keep Montgomery County Beautiful is a Keep America Beautiful affiliate. Keep America Beautiful, Inc. is the nation's largest volunteer-based community action and education organization. With a network of nearly 1,000 affiliate and participating organizations, KAB forms public-private partnerships and programs that engage individuals to take greater responsibility for improving their community's environment.

Miami Valley Treecovery
If your property sustained tornado damage on May 27, 2019 and you need help replanting trees at your home, use the link below.  KMCB is partnering with RETREET to plant native trees in your front yard. Trained volunteers will plant the trees for you.  All you have to do is water the tree(s) for long-term success.

KMCB is proud to announce the 2022 Litter Prevention grant
 
Litter Prevention grants are available on a competitive basis to local municipalities and 501(c) (3) Non-Profit Organizations in Montgomery County, Ohio.
 
Example projects include:

  • Community Cleanup or Awareness Campaigns
  • Equipment for Litter/Dumping Enforcement
  • Tarp Program or Campaign
