Keep Montgomery County Beautiful promotes and empowers individuals, businesses, and communities to improve the environment in Montgomery County, Ohio through litter prevention, beautification, and neighborhood cleanups. Keep Montgomery County Beautiful is a program of the Montgomery County Solid Waste District.

Keep Montgomery County Beautiful is a Keep America Beautiful affiliate. Keep America Beautiful, Inc. is the nation's largest volunteer-based community action and education organization. With a network of nearly 1,000 affiliate and participating organizations, KAB forms public-private partnerships and programs that engage individuals to take greater responsibility for improving their community's environment.

American Veterans Heritage Center
VA Grotto - Dayton, OH 

Project Overview:
Since 2013, a collaborative team of volunteers at the Dayton VA have been engaged in restoring and maintaining twelve acres of the historic Dayton VA Medical Center Grotto gardens.

In 2019, a Keep Montgomery County Beautification Grant funded the addition of a rain garden to the Grotto to help with erosion control.

2017 - OSU Extension Excellence Award for Community Service
2018 - VA Volunteer Service Award
2019 - US Botanical Garden Exhibit in Washington DC
